Biography
In 2000, Professor Cassandra Bowers became the Coordinator for the WSU Bachelors program in social work. Prior to joining the faculty full time in 1998, Professor Bowers was an administrator of several not-for-profit human service agencies serving adolescents between the ages of 12 and 18.
In the community, Professor Bowers is active with the Fowlerville School District Alternative Education Program, working with at-risk youth and instructors. She is also working with the PACT organization, having membership on their School-Aged Child and Youth Task Force. Currently, Professor Bowers is working on the Family and Child Educational Program in conjunction with the Family Independence Agency.
