Biography
In 1993, Janet M. Joiner joined the School of Social Work in the Office of Admissions and Student Services (OASS). Today she serves the School as its Director of Admissions and Student Services. She also teaches SW 1010, Introduction to Social Work for non-majors.
Responsibilities
Responsible for the supervision of the OASS Division, developing recruitment and marketing strategies, determining final student admission decision to the BSW, MSW and Graduate Certificate Program. Also responsible for providing faculty advisement to Student Organization (the umbrella organization for social work students).
