April 6, 2017: TIP Chili Cook-Off

March 10, 2017

The TIP Chili Cook-Off is a fundraiser for the Transition to Independence Program (TIP) at Wayne State University. This program helps to support students who attend Wayne State University who have experienced the foster care system. The funds raised at this event will be used to offer book scholarships for TIP students!

The event is open to admission paid at the door ($5 student, $8 general). The event is all you can eat with voting on your favorite chili!

Interested in participating as a chili-making-team? Teams should be comprised of 1-4 people with at least one team-member at their table throughout the event. Each team will be provided with a table, a tablecloth, a team name  sign, bowls, spoons, and napkins for tasting, and a chaffing dish to keep the chili warm. For more information on participating as a team and to register your team for free visit the TIP website here. Click here for a printable version of the flyer above
