Alumni Mentoring Program

The Wayne State University School of Social Work Alumni Board recently launched a student and alumni mentoring program for bachelor's and master's level students, designed to enhance student performance, success and achievement post-graduation.

This mentoring program will connect students with alumni, increase success, and build positive awareness of the contributions of the WSU School of Social Work and it's alumni.

How does the program work?

Alumni mentors are paired with students each semester based on your availability. Students are paired with alumni based on their interests and career goals. Each student will meet with their mentor each quarter to discuss and learn more about opportunities in social work.

Eligibility

All Wayne State University bachelor's and master's level students are invited to participate in the program, which will be offered to eligible students who meet certain criteria. Eligibility will be based on a completed application and the student's demonstrated commitment to their professional and social knowledge and development.
