CLASSIFICATION: Non-Exempt 40 Hours per week
GENERAL DESCRIPTION & QUALIFICATIONS: The SART Coordinator is responsible for the development and maintenance of a Regional Sexual Assault Response Team (SART). Facilitate collaborative relationships with representatives from law enforcement, the prosecutor’s office, health care, the crime lab, and other community-based and service-based advocacy organizations. Conduct presentations to inform the community about SART services. The SART Coordinator will stay informed on current sexual assault practices and trends. Prefer Master’s Degree in Social Work or related field with experience in working with survivors of sexual assault in a direct service capacity, along with experience in working as part of a multidisciplinary team. Must have the ability to work with diverse populations. Must pass central registry and criminal background check as a condition of employment. Must have reliable transportation, insurance, a valid Michigan Driver’s License and a good driving record. Non-supervisory position. Travel required. Salary Range: $40,000-$52,000.
