Posting: Licensed Outreach Psychotherapist – Independent Contractor

We are seeking full and part-time motivated Psychotherapists to join our team of committed and caring professionals to work as an Independent Contractor for a small, dedicated, agency to provide court ordered outreach psychotherapy to adults, children and families. We value excellent service!
Responsibilities:
- Establish open lines of communication for adults, children and families with mental or emotional issues
- Provide prevention/intervention-oriented therapy
- Develop, implement and review treatment plans to meet the agency’s clinical standards of care
- Ensure all documentation is completed on time
Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctorate level
- Professional License with State of Michigan
- Able to work in City of Detroit, Oakland and Wayne County
- Previous experience in child welfare, domestic violence/anger management, mental health, counseling or other related fields is a plus
- Familiarity with community mental health resources
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Ability to build rapport with clients
- Strong organizational skills to meet required deadlines
- Must have access to a computer and basic computer knowledge
- Minimum of 20-30 clinical hours per week
- Valid drivers license
