Rainbow Center of Michigan Inc. (Highland Park), is currently seeking two Full-time (40 hours per week) Clinical Counselors. The applicants should have experience working in methadone management, substance abuse treatment and or mental health settings. Applicants must be computer literate and be able to work early morning hours. Background check and comprehensive drug screening
[REQUIRED]. Schedule: Monday-Friday Hours: 4:45am-2:15pm
Desired Requirements: Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling or Psychology with at least one-year experience in substance abuse or a CADC/ CADCC certification. Current CPR Certification.
Description: Conduct individual therapy sessions with consumers (clients) on a weekly basis and document these sessions appropriately. Maintain a caseload of assigned consumers and maintain accurate updated records and progress notes in consumer files. Demonstrate a willingness to assist fellow co-workers when the need arises or when requested by management. Maintain appropriate billing practices and ensure required documentation are submitted into the MH-WIN System.
