Southwest Detroit Community Justice Center is a Community Court program. Community court is a specialty court that focuses on holding offenders accountable while providing social services linkages. These courts actively involve the community in crime reduction initiatives. The mission of Southwest Detroit Community Justice Center is to increase public trust in the justice system, assist in the reduction of crime, improve the quality of life and meet the needs of the community.
