The Institute for Justice Research and Development is currently accepting applications for our Post-Master’s Fellowship in Columbus, OH; Greenville-Spartanburg, SC; and Indianapolis, IN. The Institute for Justice Research and Development (IJRD) Post-Master’s Fellowship is the first of its kind at the intersection of social work and criminal justice. We are actively recruiting recent graduates of accredited master’s in social work programs to join our team. The full-time, paid Fellowship is designed to prepare MSW graduates for clinical and research work as part of a multidisciplinary team.

The post-master’s fellowship provides master's level social workers with in-depth, hands-on training opportunities with criminal justice-involved individuals and families. Post-master’s fellows will develop specialized and highly sought after skills which will provide an excellent foundation for the next steps of their career. We will provide ongoing in-service training, workshops, and resources throughout their tenure to help them develop professionally as both a clinician and a researcher. We will also provide resources for clinical supervision and mentorship.

We are thrilled to open up this unique opportunity for the growing number of students interested in pursuing a career that seeks to improve the policies and practices of our criminal justice system, ameliorate racial, economic, and behavioral health disparities, and promote the well-being of individuals, families, and communities across our nation.
