Residential Care Coordinator (part time, 1st,2nd,3rd shift) – Community Treatment Center East- Detroit Michigan
Cherry Health is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) with a mission to improve the health and wellness of individuals by providing comprehensive primary and behavioral health care while encouraging access by those who are underserved. The Residential Care Coordinator is responsible for supervision of clients’ day to day activities and provides custody and security oversight to clients within a male corrections facility while maintaining order within the facility and enforcing all rules, regulations, and policies. This is a part-time position. This position will work a total of 16 +/- hours per week
Requirements:
· High School Diploma or GED
· Current valid driver’s license
· CPR certification
· Associate degree in Human Services or Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or related field preferred
Responsibilities:
· Orientation and intake of all residents
· Assist clients with questions, problems and/or concerns
· Monitor client and visitor traffic at each facility at all times
· Conduct randomly scheduled facility and client searches
· Conduct random census counts / facility perimeter checks
· Ensure all residents are taking their medication and logging into record
· Distribute resident mail, and meals
· Perform other duties as assigned
