Position: Licensed Sex Offender Therapist
Contract position for Counselor(s) to provide cognitive behavioral based group therapy, 1 to 3 days or evenings per week in a community-based out-patient office with Corrections population.
Must have a current Professional License in the behavioral health field AND be able to:
Pass a background check
AND
Must maintain Association for the Treatment of Sexual Abusers (ATSA) clinical Membership qualification.
AND
Master's degree or above, with at least two years of post graduate treatment experience in the criminal justice or chemical dependency chemical dependency treatment field.
AND
Must Document two (2) or more years prior group therapy experience involving sexual deviance, sex offenders, criminal behavior, or chemical dependency.
The required responsibilities include:
- Deliver group and individual therapy utilizing cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) model.
- Ensure that the treatment is evidenced based and in compliance with program structure
- Complete and revise ‘goal-specific” and measurable treatment plans.
- Utilize Microsoft Word to complete required intake assessments, treatment plans, and monthly reports to referral source
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Schedule:
Monday to Friday, as well as weekend availability.
