Essential functions:
Providing mobility assistance and encouragement to perform daily tasks
Ensuring the client's home is safe and organized
Assisting with personal care and errands
Requirements:
Must be able to commute to Downtown Detroit
Must have a vehicle to perform certain job functions
Masters of Social Work student/graduate preferred, or BSW student with specialization in gerontology
#2 Night time assistant/companion to an elderly woman in Downtown Detroit. Client is a night owl and may require assistance during evening hours. Roughly 5 days a week for 4-5 late evening hours (10:00pm-2:00am, for example) each shift. Employee may bring personal work or quiet entertainment during shift time when assistance is not readily needed. Please email katelevinmarkel@gmail.com with your resume if interested.
