Posting: undergraduate research assistant positions

The Department of Criminology & Criminal Justice is currently accepting applications for undergraduate research assistant positions to work on a National Science Foundation funded research project. We are seeking highly motivated undergraduate students to assist with data collection for a City of Detroit resident survey. Students with a social science background will be given special consideration, although students from all disciplines are welcome to apply. We are looking for students who possess some combination of the following attributes:  

  1. Outstanding interpersonal communication skills to interact with members of the community. 
  2. Ability to commit to 5-6 days per week for 2 weeks (June 13 thru 24).
  3. Junior/Senior level standing
  4. Reliable transportation

Student researchers will be paid $20 per survey completed.
