My Neighborhood Connections AmeriCorps members serving at Hannan Center
Seeking those interested in part-time work with stipend ($4000) from June-October
Support older adults in Southeast Michigan by:
- Conducting home safety assessments
- Connecting residents with community organizations to help meet their needs
- Promoting healthy aging in place • Developing sustainable neighborhood volunteer networks
- Facilitating arts and wellness workshops
- Coordinating resource fairs and other community events
AmeriCorps members serve 20-25 hours per week for 10 months.
Benefits of AmeriCorps service include a living allowance and Segal Education Award.
