Posting: Ele's Place - Volunteer work

August 17, 2022

Ele’s Place is a non-profit, community-driven organization that provides bereavement support services to grieving children and teens through a peer support group model. Ele’s Place relies on volunteers to offer these services at no cost to families. As we prepare for the 2022-2023 school year, we are seeking interested, kind and compassionate adults who want to make a difference in our community. Volunteering a unique and rewarding experience to work on teams, facilitate grief activities and build knowledge about childhood bereavement.

We offer an in-depth and interactive training for all volunteers, so no prior experience is necessary. We welcome people from all backgrounds, and have a particular need for bilingual individuals and male volunteers. Our training flier is attached to this email and outlines both our upcoming training and volunteer opportunities.

Those who are interested can learn more at our website or complete our volunteer application here: https://elesplace.org/about/get-involved/sign . New volunteers will be invited to our Fall 2022 Training (see flier for details).

Please feel welcome to share this opportunity with others who may be interested. Those with questions may contact Meghan at mthiel@elesplace.org or via phone at 734-929-6640 ext 2207.
