Embody Her is 100% online & somatically-informed + serves adult womxn 1-1.
Our ideal fit: you work well independently, have a sense of humor, bring some lived-experience into the room; are a little or a lot woo; might be a recovering hustler, and maybe took a non-linear path to becoming a therapist. You also identify as a sensitive in one way or another. Your clinical interests probably lean towards the attachment-based side of things. Ideally, you already have some training in the somatic approach to therapy, but at minimum, you have a basic awareness and/or genuine interest in it.
Must also be de-colonizing/non-pathologizing/anti-everything (know how to use the DSM + engage with the medical model as needed, but also know how problematic it is to do so).
This is a 1099 position. LMSW + LLMSWs only. We currently accept BCBS/BCN & Aetna + self-pay. Fee-splits start at 60% for LLs + 65% for Ls; I provide an EHR, biller, supervision ops + a subsidized learning perk to start. Must be able to see at least 12ish clients per week.
Group/telehealth practices are a dime a dozen these days – I offer a more intimate space to work in a niche & be + grow in it, as a person & a professional.
