Ele’s Place is a non-profit, community-driven organization that provides bereavement support services to grieving children and teens through a peer support group model.
Ele’s Place relies on volunteers to offer these services at no cost to families.
As we prepare for 2023, we are seeking interested, kind and compassionate adults who want to make a difference in our community. Volunteering with our support group program, one night per week, offers a unique and rewarding experience to work on teams, facilitate grief activities and build knowledge about childhood bereavement.
We offer an in-depth and interactive training for all volunteers, so no prior experience is necessary. We welcome people from all backgrounds, and have a particular need for bilingual individuals and male volunteers.

In-Person Training:
Session 1 of 3: Thursday, February 9, 2023 5:30 PM – 9:00 PM
Session 2 of 3: Saturday, February 11, 2023 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Session 3 of 3: Saturday, February 18, 2023 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
* Completion of Online Modules and In-Person Training sessions are required to become a Volunteer Support Group Facilitator. No previous experience necessary.
* We welcome all interested, kind and compassionate adults. Currently, we have a particular need for people of diverse backgrounds, including bilingual individuals and male volunteers.
