Oct. 24: WSU American Red Cross Blood Drive

The Wayne State University Mortuary Science Department invites you to Carve Out A New Tradition and participate in an upcoming American Red Cross Blood Drive. Every 8 minutes the American Red Cross responds to an emergency and with the recent increase in emergency needs due to hurricanes Harvey, Irma and Maria, the tragedy in Las Vegas, wildfires in California and global disasters, the need is greater than ever.

Tips for donating: Drink plenty of water and juice the day before and day of your donation. Eat a meal before you donate.

Although walk-in donations will be accepted, we request that participants sign up for a donation appointment here (sponsor code wsufas).
