Deborah Omokehinde

Biography

Professor Omokehinde received her Master’s of Social Work from the University of Michigan in 1996. Her areas of study were community organization, administration and evaluation and research. She entered The Union Institute as a doctoral candidate of Ecological Community Psychology in 1996. Her social work practice has included, substance abuse counseling, development, implementation and evaluation of substance abuse prevention programming targeting youth, community organizing, public policy advocacy, and providing executive level leadership in a variety of agencies and organizations.
