Biography

Ann Caulfield-Cook’s social work career has been in the practice of clinical social work in outpatient mental health and substance abuse treatment. She received her M.S.W. degree from the University of Michigan with a focus on interpersonal practice, and was accepted into the doctoral program of the Institute for Clinical Social Work (Chicago) with a concentration on psychodynamic psychotherapy.

After 15 years of working for several agencies that provide outpatient psychotherapy services – such as Catholic Social Services, BiCounty Hospital and Henry Ford Behavioral Services – Dr. Caulfield-Cook opened her own private psychotherapy practice in Allen Park. For the past six years, she has also worked at Oakwood Healthcare System, where she is currently supervisor of the Clinical Ethics Consultation Service.
