Director of Business Affairs
Janie Williams-White has more than 20 years of experience in accounting, management and business operations. Her areas of expertise include: grant administration, revenue cycle management, strategic planning, budget management, automation of systems, data analytics, change management, process improvement, and financial statement preparation and analysis.
Ms. Williams-White serves as the Director, Business Affairs for the Wayne State University School of Social Work. In this role, Williams-White plans and oversees the day-to-day financial, operational, and administrative activities for the school. Williams-White works with the Dean, staff, and university departments to: maintain internal controls, ensure compliance with university policies and procedures, ensure financial objectives are achieved, provide research grant award assistance, and support the mission and short and long range goals of the School of Social Work and the university.
