Evaluation Specialist, Center for Behavioral Health and Justice
Anita joined the Center for Behavioral Health and Justice in 2019 following the completion of her Masters in Social Work degree, which focused on Innovations in Community and Leadership. During her graduate program, she brought business insight and capacity-building skills to the field as a Program Evaluation Intern at Build Institute. Prior to joining the Center, Anita worked at the Wayne State School of Social Work Research Center, assisting faculty with research support, assessments, and grant evaluation.
Anita serves as an Evaluation Specialist on the Michigan Re-entry Project. She is responsible for collection, management, and analysis of quantitative and qualitative data from various sources. She creates progress summaries and graphs on a weekly basis for each provider team to track individual and program progress. She also assists with developing surveys, facilitating focus groups, conducting interviews, and creating reports and presentations.
