Valerie Cullin

Biography

Cullin was an English professor at Wayne State for 2 years. She worked in the public school systems in Michigan for 15 years, then moved to higher education in 2010. She is a Reading Specialist as well as a specialist in developmental writing. She is currently working on her second Master’s degree in Written Communication. Her focus is on developmental reading and writing as well as implementing writing across the curriculum.

Responsibilities

Ms. Cullin serves as the English instructor with the College of Social Work and teaches the writing classes and serves as a writing tutor.

  • M.A., University of Michigan Dearborn (Reading Specialist)
  • M.A., Eastern Michigan University (Written Communication- complete in December, 2018)
