Biography

Bob joined the Center for Behavioral Health and Justice in October 2019. Prior to joining the CBHJ, he worked as a supervisor for a Community Mental Health provider where he supervised clinicians and peers in providing jail mental health services and staff for the local mental health court. In addition, he designed and co-facilitated Crisis Intervention Team Trainings (CIT), served as a team member in a metro SWAT team hostage negotiations unit, and developed a police/MH co-responding team. Bob brings over 30 years of clinical, supervisory, and crisis care experience to the CBHJ team.

Responsibilities

Bob leads Stepping Up technical assistance and the development of Opioid Treatment Ecosystems within several counties across Michigan. Responsibilities include regular communication, data collection, and ongoing collaboration and coordination with behavioral health and criminal justice partners.
