Mentoring

S.T.A.R.T. (Social Workers Today Achieve Retention Together) is a WSU School of Social Work mentoring initiative that assists students in establishing a professional social work network in the metro- Detroit area for the purpose of improving student retention at WSU. Each participating student will be assigned an MSW-level mentor who is a graduate of the Wayne State University MSW program. The mentor will assist the student in building his/her professional, educational and leadership potential while encouraging the continued pursuit of higher education in social work.
