Research Interests
Buckhoy's background features macro practice, policy advocacy, and direct service in community health settings and/or around community health issues. Her interests include exploring community and environmental health-related policy standards, implementation, and enforcement; and advancing environmental health literacy and advocacy in vulnerable communities. Secondary, she hopes to help enhance social work’s recognition of, and responses to, environmental health threats.
