Biography

Carly Steele received MSW from Wayne State with a focus in Community Development and Policy. Have a strong background in working with youth and local community mental health organizations. Designed and led program evaluation for Young Adult Self Sufficiency program at The Children's Center to ensure support and improved outcomes for young adults exiting the foster care system. Experience conducting quality assurance measures and incorporating persons served voices into programming and services. Passionate about the use of data and evaluation to enhance quality of life for underserved populations.

Responsibilities

Steele works to increase community engagement by offering services in research and evaluation. Support faculty research projects by connecting to community resources and managing evaluation projects. Collaborate to conduct community assessments, surveys, focus groups, interviews and other program evaluation efforts with community-based agencies, foundations, local and state governments.
