Biography

Jenai joined the CBHJ in February of 2024 as a project coordinator. Prior to this, she graduated from the University of Michigan with her master's in occupational and environmental epidemiology. She has previously held various research assistant positions including one with the Israel Ministry of Health where she helped create a report of the state of chlorpyrifos exposure in the country.

Responsibilities

Jenai is a project coordinator for the Opioid Treatment Ecosystem initiative. She is responsible for managing site recruitment, engagement, and retention to implement public health vending machines throughout Wayne County. Jenai serves as a liaison within counties, navigating relationships between systems and county partners - including community mental health, county jail, probation/parole, courts, peer supports, and first responders She also supports the mixed-methods evaluation projects through the preparation of data collection protocols and by participating in data collection, analysis, and dissemination.
