Michigan Parkinson Foundation is seeking a full-time staff social worker to administer the foundation’s financial assistance programs for in home and facility-based respite care; assist constituents in accessing community resources to help people with Parkinson’s live an optimal quality of life.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide support and training to the Parkinson support groups that meet monthly throughout the state.
• Responsible for planning annual support group leadership training and assisting with CME programs.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Good written and oral communication skills needed.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

Competitive salary, health care benefits and generous PTO. Some travel, public speaking and evening meetings required.
