The Director of Behavioral Health is responsible for the operation of Judson Center’s Integrated Behavioral Health programs across all Counties served (Macomb, Oakland, Wayne). This includes Outpatient Behavioral Health, In-Home Treatment program for children and families, Substance Use Disorder Outpatient and Intensive Substance Use Disorder Outpatient services. This position is a member of the integrated care leadership team and responsible for executing the integration of behavioral health and primary health care. The Director is a member of the Directors Group and Senior Management team and must be a strong hands-on leader, responsible for supervising an integrated care team of clinical, case management and support staff.
Job Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in human service field (e.g. social work, psychology, counseling) with appropriate clinical licensure from the State of Michigan preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of management or program director level experience required, 5 years preferred.
- Experience consisting of managing mental health and substance use disorder programs serving diverse populations of consumers with various funding sources.

Judson Center’s In Home Family Treatment program is seeking licensed and limited license therapists to join our behavioral health team at our expanding integrated health center in Warren, MI. Flexible, non-traditional work hour opportunity. Our therapists are part of an integrated care team, which includes substance use, mental health, and physical health care services. Our In Home program provides services in the family’s home and community to provide a higher level of care to kids that need our help.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Assessments and treatment plan development using a person-centered, solution-focused approach.
- Evidence based treatment to children, adolescents and families.
- Collaboration with collateral professionals, referral sources, and providers of ancillary service.
Completes documentation in accordance with contractual requirements and agency guidelines.
- Intensive In-Home treatment for children and adolescents, providing 2-3 hours of home and community based treatment weekly
Job Qualifications
- Clinical experience, knowledge of best practices, evidence based practice models, trauma informed care, and co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders preferred.
- Knowledge of family therapy theories, treatment philosophies and strategies of services, as well as community resources.
- Provide culturally competent services that shows sensitivity to the service population’s cultural and socioeconomic characteristics.
- Demonstrated competency in computer skills using electronic health record and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to comply with all applicable licensing rules, accreditation standards, code of ethics, insurance reimbursement rules, and Judson Center’s policies and procedures.
- Travel within Macomb County to family homes and schools

- State licensure in Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology, full licensure preferred.
- Valid Michigan Driver’s License, appropriate insurance and use of own vehicle.

Salary up to $58,000 annually
Primary Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Assessments and treatment plan development using a person-centered, solution-focused approach.
- Evidence based treatment to children, adolescents, adults and families.
- Collaboration with collateral professionals, referral sources, and providers of ancillary service.
Completes documentation in accordance with contractual requirements and agency guidelines.
