The Detroit Housing Commission (DHC) provides affordable housing opportunities to area residents with household incomes ranging from Extremely Low to Low in the five-county area.
We are looking for college interns from the school of social work, political science, or sociology to provide supportive services to those 3400+ public housing residents. They will assist with resident service coordination. The Detroit Housing Commission (DHC) and the Department of Resident Services are offering several three-year paid internship positions beginning June 1, 2022, and ending May 30, 2025. The intern pay is a stipend of $20K annually for 20-28 work hours per week. The hourly rate for the position will be $20.00/hour.
