Resident Services Lead


GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

The Resident Services Lead position co-supervises the department, its staff, and its programs. This position is responsible for all resident services, program development, ensuring all programs meet funder requirements, and supervision and guidance of all site staff, under the strategic vision of the CEO.


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3 years experience in direct client services
  • Valid Enhanced Driver’s License or passport.
  • Experience working with multi-disciplinary teams
  • Supervision experience of a team of 3 or larger
  • Ability to communicate effectively in writing, verbally, and electronically.
  • Bilingual preferred
  • Experience working with immigrants and other cultures preferred

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Co-supervise site and kitchen staff.
  • Develop, review, and monitor person-centered care plans in coordination with the social service, site, and legal teams.
  • Coordinate with the Engagement department to execute all resident-related onsite events.
  • In coordination with the site manager, develop, oversee, and maintain supply inventories.
  • Screen prospective clients.
  • Ensure the proper implementation of new client intakes and client orientation.
  • Maintain bed inventory
  • In coordination with the leadership team, implement client interventions to ensure the client’s success in the program.
  • Develop, oversee, and maintain the chore, transportation, and food programs.
  • Ensure all funder and agency reporting deadlines are met
  • Monitor and ensure that funder and agency guidelines and outcomes are met.
  • Monitor and maintain assigned department budget(s) and make appropriate recommendations.
  • Oversee the maintenance of client files per agency, funder, and auditor standards.
  • Assist with the development of department policies and procedures
  • Oversee the development and implementation of department goals and targets
  • Ensure all client interactions are maintained within the client’s electronic file and kept up to date.
  • Ensure staff training to ensure audit, agency, and program standards are met.
  • Ensure staff receives ongoing training on serving the agency’s clients, per agency standards.
  • Represent the agency at public forums, conferences, and media events; function as an advocate representing Freedom House Detroit in the community.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $38,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
