Jun Sung Hong has been invited to present Racial difference in family level factors related to bullying and peer victimization in the United States at the British Psychological Society, Keele University, BPS Seminars: Tackling Bullying in School Seminar, United Kingdom, July 19.

Dr. Hong delivered the following keynote addresses:

  • Kral, MJ (2017, June). Community psychology and social work: Disciplines cut from the same cloth. Round table presentation, Society for Community Research and Action, University of Ottawa, ON.

    On June 21, Megan Piel presented a workshop at the Michigan Teen Conference, held at Saginaw Valley State University. More than 200 youth currently living in foster care or independent living, their caregivers, and agency caseworkers attended the event. Dr. Piel's workshop focused on empowering youth and young adults with a history of foster care to take an active role in their mental health, by increasing their knowledge of mental health and their rights and responsibilities as consumers of mental health services.
