Stella Resko received a 2016 Educational Development Grant from the Wayne State Office of Teaching and Learning to develop new social work courses for the Graduate Certificate in Alcohol and Drug Abuse Studies (CADAS). 

On April 28 Shantalea Johns and her two children, Aaron and Allison (below) enjoyed the Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day festivities across campus including face painting, lunch at the Towers Café, wall climbing at the Fitness Center and a residence hall tour for a close-up look at college life.

Juanitta Hill and Betsy Vanderstelt (below) were shocked with a “Thank you for making it happen” surprise party on April 26. Faculty and staff thanked Juanitta and Betsy for all of their hard work coordinating the building renovation and move.  

Kids-TALK Children's Advocacy Center and the WSU School of Social Work partnered to display a pinwheel garden in the central courtyard and front entrance drive planter of the School of Social Work building in honor of National Child Abuse Prevention month this April.
