Congratulations July 2016

Angelique Day was awarded the prestigious Congressional Fellowship from the Society for Research on Child Development for the Fall 2016-2017 year. Angelique will provide research support and guidance to the U.S. Senate Caucus on foster youth.  She will serve this fellowship year in the U.S. Senate under the leadership of Senator Al Franken.  This fellowship award was made possible by the receipt of a grant from the William T. Grant Foundation.

School of Social Work Writing Assistance Program staff member Derek Risse successfully defended his dissertation in fulfillment of the Ph.D. in English (Rhetoric and Composition) on June 9. His research area included exploration of the topics of ethics, rhetoric, and writing pedagogy. Congratulations, Dr. Risse!
