Joanne Sobeck and Linda Kaljee of Henry Ford Health Systems presented at the Urban Center for Antimicrobial Resistance Discovery, Education and Stewardship (UCARDES) Symposium on Sept. 22 at the Integrative Biosciences Center. Their presentation was titled: Barriers and Facilitators to Appropriate Consumer Use of Antibiotics in the Detroit Metropolitan Area: Preliminary Results from a Clinic - and Community-based Intercept Survey. The presentation represents the work of a multi-disciplinary team of researchers from College of Nursing, Henry Ford Health System and Allied Health and Pharmacy Practice including Joanne Sobeck, Linda Kaljee, Joanne Smith-Darden, Barbara Pieper, Alex Plum, Aubrey Gilliland, Mark Zervos and Paul Kilgore.
