David Castine
Biography
Castine has been an part-time faculty member since 1991. He has taught primarily marriage and family therapy courses and currently teaches the core courses in the Family Systems Concentration. He serves as a faculty advisor in field work education and has presented numerous workshops for The School of Social Work’s Continuing Education Program.
Castine worked for 25 years in the State of Michigan Psychiatric Hospital System. He has provided outpatient therapy for children and adults in various outpatient clinical settings and is currently on staff at Providence Hospital, Department of Behavioral Medicine. He maintains a private practice providing individual, couple, and family therapy, and supervision to mental health professionals.
