Biography
Jodi began teaching for Wayne State University in 2016. Prior to teaching in the classroom, Jodi served as a field supervisor for MSW students with Wayne State and Michigan State Universities - School of Social Work. She possesses clinical expertise in medical and behavioral health social work. Jodi has taught the DSM in Clinical Social Work Practice and Assessment for Interpersonal Practice. In addition to teaching, she currently works as Director of Integrated Case Management at Henry Ford Health.
Jodi began her social work career in 2002, working as part of a multi-disciplinary team at Ascension St. John Hospital. During her employment in the hospital setting, she was responsible for managing patient care needs in the Trauma and Intensive Care units. Throughout her time inpatient she worked in all areas including the emergency department. Jodi transitioned into a leadership role within Ascension as the Manager of ambulatory case management. She moved on to take a position with Henry Ford Health as she began teaching with Wayne State University. As the Director with Henry Ford Health Jodi over sees multidisciplinary team that provides case management and social support.
