M.S.W. Academic Advisor
After being an active member of the Wayne State University School of Social Work Alumni Board since 2008, Sarah Barlow-Doyle joined the School of Social Work in May 2012 as the academic advisor for the MSW program. Barlow-Doyle’s practice experience consists of serving as a facilitator, counselor and advocate for at-risk youth and families in a variety of settings, including schools, residential facilities, in-home and clinics. These populations have been the focus of her educational concentration and academic research.
Barlow-Doyle provides academic advisement to M.S.W. students and those in graduate certificate programs. Other responsibilities include recruitment and retention activities, advisement on admission procedures and degree requirements, and assistance with developing student support services.
