Biography

At the Oakland County Prosecutor's Office Alexandria meets with members of the racial justice advisory council to derive solutions on how to reduce racial disparities and implement alternatives to incarceration.

Before joining the CBHJ, Alexandria worked and volunteered in various organizations focused on criminal justice, harm reduction, and mental health. She worked at Michigan Liberation as a mental health organizer, where she built strategic relationships with healthcare professionals, educators, and members of local government to develop an ecosystem for non-carceral mental health resources accessible to community members. Alexandria also worked at Centria Healthcare as a Behavioral Health Coordinator.

Her passion and interest in criminal justice and mental health stems from her personal experiences during her upbringing. In her free time, Alexandria volunteers with various advocacy groups to promote positive change. Alexandria's work is guided by her instincts, intellect, and stories from community members who are directly impacted by the legal system.
