Biography
Amelia Abdelnabi, LCSW is a warrior alumnus. While earning her bachelor's degree, she was part of the cohort enrolled in the hybrid online BSW program in 2018. She went onto further her education and received her MSW in 2019. With 4 years of experience in the social work profession, she has supported students as a school social worker and worked with individuals facing mental illnesses at a community mental health agency. Now, as the MSW Student Success Coach, Abdelnabi provides ongoing support to students, drawing from her expertise and compassion to help them thrive academically and professionally.
Responsibilities
As a success coach, Abdelnabi will primarily be supporting MSW students by being an advocate and mediator. Abdelnabi hopes to bridge the gap between students and the resources the university provides to ensure a seamless integration between their home life and academic achievements. Thus, enabling online program students to feel fully immersed in the campus culture and a sense of belonging to the university community.
