Biography
Elizabeth (Betsy) Vanderstelt joined the Wayne State School of Social Work in November 2013 as currently serves as the associate director of marketing and communications. An MSW, Vanderstelt came to Wayne State from Northwestern University, where she held the positions in research administration, grant writing, marketing and organizational administration.Â
Responsibilities
Vanderstelt’s social work knowledge and previous collegiate level academic experience have proved to be the perfect fit for her responsibilities at the School of Social Work, which include developing and implementing communications for the school, coordinating major events and lectures, assisting with fundraising efforts and supporting community and alumni engagment opportunities.
