Biography
Hosanna Fukuzawa is a Ph.D. student in the Social Work doctoral program studying suicidality among minority groups in Japan and its former empire. He has a particular focus on two groups: the Ainu and Korean Diaspora. Additionally, his interests expand to other subcultures embedded within Japanese soft power and its relationship to views of suicidality, self-hood, and death. His work has recently been published in the Asia Pacific Journal: Japan Focus.
