Shoshana Ringel and Jerrold Brandell have recently signed a contract with Columbia University Press to publish a fully revised and expanded second edition of their 2011 edited book, Trauma: Contemporary Directions in Theory, Research and Practice. Among the chapter contributors are four other Wayne State-affiliated individuals: Professors Antonio González-Prendes, Stella Resko, and Jun Hong, and doctoral candidate Caitlin Cassidy. The anticipated publication date for Trauma is early - mid 2019.
Antonio González-Prendes and doctoral candidate Caitlin Cassady recently completed another invited book chapter titled Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy and Social Work Practice, which will appear in the Routledge Handbook on Social Work Theory. This is a book edited by Emma Reith Hall and Malcolm Payne (United Kingdom) and published by Routledge. Anticipated publication date: late 2018.
