Wayne State Social Work presenters at the 2021 SSWR Virtual Conference
The Society for Social Work and Research (SSWR) is hosting their 25th Annual Virtual Conference from January 19 - 22, 2021. This meeting of social workers from around the globe will focus on "Social Work Science for Social Change".
We at the Wayne State University School of Social Work are committed to developing social work practitioners, conducting research and fostering community engagement focused on urban communities. This commitment results in quality teaching and research that benefits the community, encourages cultural humility, and pays attention to social, economic and environmental justice. We have committed faculty, staff, funding and additional resources to support two specialized Centers of Excellence, the Center for Social Work Research and the Center for Behavioral Health and Justice, which impact our profession and the quality of life around the globe.
We are proud to share the results of our research, student support practices, educational initiatives and community engagement programs with the social work community at the 2021 SSWR Virtual Conference.
