In an effort to keep graduates, faculty and staff safe this graduation season, the School of Social Work looked to creative alternatives to help students celebrate the momentous occasion. On May 5th, Social Work Dean Sheryl Kubiak and her life-size cardboard cutout, "Cardboard Kubiak", made the rounds to over 20 randomly selected graduates to present them with graduation gift bags and provide an opportunity to safely take a photo with the Dean.

The Class of 2021 is seeking the support of the Warrior Social Work Community to support students who encounter unexpected financial challenges, ranging from needing assistance with a utility bill after an unexpected job loss to seeking housing after being temporarily displaced. Our priority is ensuring that our students are able to stay enrolled and successfully graduate by overcoming these financial challenges. Make your gift today to leave your legacy at the School of Social Work with this unique giving opportunity spearheaded by the Class of 2021.
