Community Change, Social Entrepreneurship, and Social Justice focuses on how to advance human rights, social, economic, and environmental justice. This focal area looks at the impact of systems, organizations, and institutions on the individual and larger community and works to improve experiences and remove impediments to goals. Topics include economic development, sustainability, neighborhood change, social entrepreneurship, issue advocacy, capacity building, and organizational assessment and evaluation.

For this project, Dr. Perry will provide consultation on work with community members including planning the training sessions for community members and collaborating on the Participatory Action Research process. Dr. Perry will attendĀ team/community meetings for theĀ coalition building process and sharing of lessons learned from previous community coalition work in Waterloo Ontario.
