Community engagement & evaluation
The Center for Social Work Research seeks to nurture long-term relationships with the Detroit area community. Through partnerships with agencies and community research and evaluation projects, we build multi-faceted, collaborative relationships. This engagement increases the ability for faculty and students to engage in applied research and the ability for community partners to test new program models and evaluation strategies. Collaboration between faculty and practitioners is an important component with our partner projects.
