Feleta Wilson, associate professor and Fulbright Scholar in the College of Nursing, along with assistant professor and director of field education in the School of Social Work, Anwar Najor-Durack, received a three-year $945,000 Screening, Brief Intervention, and Referral to Treatment (SBIRT) grant to train undergraduate and graduate social work and nursing students, as well as community health providers, to assess patients for substance abuse behaviors in primary care settings.
